Grain processing professionals
We manufacture and sell processing machinery and food products related to food in general, with a focus on the three staple foods of humankind: rice, wheat, and corn. At the core of this is the rice processing technology that we have accumulated since our founding.Currently, we produce machinery and equipment used in all processes of harvesting, processing, and rice milling, such as grain drying facilities and rice milling plants. We supply not only domestically but also to approximately 150 countries around the world.

Tradition and innovative technology
Satake believes that technological development is the driving force behind company development. More than 300 engineers are engaged in research and development in the Hiroshima R&D department alone, and to date they have obtained more than 3,000 patents. We have evolved from macrotechnology, which considers the whole rice as a group, to microtechnology, which focuses on each individual grain of rice. We are also working on the development of new products that utilize AI, IoT, and robotics, with the aim of increasing customer profits through more efficient equipment operation.

Accumulated research and analytical skills
Satake has accumulated research, analysis, and know-how regarding rice processing that has been cultivated over the 130 years since its founding. Based on these, we provide a variety of analytical services to support the production, processing, and distribution of safe and secure foods, such as rice variety identification, flavor analysis, and simultaneous analysis of pesticide residues. Total production of rice processing machinery and equipment
The rice we eat every day is harvested from the rice fields and then goes through many processes before it is delivered to our tables. SATAKE handles almost all of the machinery and equipment used in the post-harvest process, and we strive every day to provide safe, secure, and delicious rice to our customers.

Drying/Preparation
Developing and manufacturing grain dryers essential for maintaining rice quality after harvest, as well as rice hullers and sorters that remove rice husks and immature grains to produce uniform, high-quality brown rice.

Storage
Design and construction of country elevators that efficiently store large quantities of grain temporarily while maintaining consistent quality, and centralize drying, processing, and shipping operations.

Rice polishing/Selection
Developing and manufacturing commercial rice polishers capable of efficiently processing large volumes of high-quality white rice, as well as optical sorters that precisely remove foreign objects and discolored grains.

Sorting/Weighing
Develops and manufactures sorting machines that prevent foreign object contamination before shipment, as well as weighing and packaging machines capable of high-speed automated processing.

Wash-free rice processing
Developing and manufacturing no-rinse rice processing equipment that efficiently removes rice bran, reducing both cooking effort and environmental impact while creating benefits for both consumers and production sites.

Cooked rice
We designed and developed a commercial rice cooking system that achieves fluffy results through uniform heating and high-temperature pressure cooking, utilizing our extensively researched and developed rice cooking technology.

Food manufacturing (dried rice)※
Developed long-lasting pre-gelatinized rice products like “Magic Rice.” Used not only as emergency food but also for outdoor activities and travel.
